This weekend, members of the collaborative Youth Group and participants in our youth service trip (Workcamp) are at Mass to tell you about the great week of service they had this past July 2026 and to ask you for your continued support for the next trip in July 2027. Thank you in advance!

For any students in Grades 8-12 who are interested in the Work- camp trip or for anyone at all who would like to know more, please contact our Youth Minister Jared at 617-527-7560 ext.126 or jblake@sholnewton.org.

The Rosemary Seibold Thanksgiving Drive: Help a Neighbor in Need This Holiday Season

With the holidays approaching, we are in need of approximately 85 volunteers to provide Thanksgiving meals for local needy families by purchasing groceries - you DO NOT cook the meal! Donors are asked to purchase a turkey and all the trimmings, which must be dropped off at the Our Lady’s Parish Office on Tuesday, November 24, between 3:00pm and 5:00pm.

If you are willing to assist, please contact Kristina at 617-527- 7560 ext.216 or kpreman@sholnewton.org. Please include your contact information (name, phone, and email) and the approximate family size for which you are willing to provide. Kristina will send you all the details in writing.

This outreach is being coordinated and provided by the collaborative, in conjunction with our Society of St. Vincent de Paul. It has been titled in memory of Rosemary Seibold (1953-2026), who was instrumental in beginning the holiday meal drives during her time on the parish staff.

THANK YOU for your willingness to share your resources with our neighbors in need!

Meet Fran Anderson!

My name is

Fran Anderson, and I am blessed to join the pastoral team at Sacred Heart and Our Lady's.

I began my career with the Archdiocese in 2007 as the Faith Formation Coordinator at the Holy Rood Collaborative in Chelmsford. I realized quickly that if I were to lead the formation of children, I needed to know what I was doing! I enrolled in the Master of Ministry program through St. John's Seminary and eventually received a Master's in Ministry. My interests continued to grow, and I became certified as a Pastoral Associate. In 2019, I took the position of Faith Formation Director and Pastoral Minister at the Lexington Catholic Collaborative, just in time for the pandemic! But because of the pandemic I was able to become more active in pastoral ministry...

October Food Drives

Let us pray...

God of Creation, you have blessed us with the changing of the seasons. As we welcome the autumn months, may the earlier setting of the sun remind us to take time to rest. May the brilliant colors of the leaves remind us of the wonder of your creation. May the steam of our breath in the cool air remind us that it is you who give us the breath of life. May the harvest from the fields remind us of the abundance we have been given and bounty we are to share with others. May the dying of summer's spirit remind us of your great promise that death is temporary and life is eternal.
We praise you for your goodness forever and ever. Amen.
